Police Station

I worked with the architect on a three day competition for a local police station. He designed the program relationships while I gave them form. These images are the originals that were produced on the third day (shortly before the presentation).

The design proposes a generous forecourt and landscape that when given the site’s unfriendly context, provides for the pedestrian some measure of refuge from the city. As it is a police station spatial functions drove the design, but we managed to produce a dynamic proposal that goes far beyond the typical police station.

We were awarded runner-up in the competition.
